**DIESELBOY**
NY/PA
http://soundcloud.com/dieselboy

Dieselboy’s DJ career began in northwest Pennsylvania DJing high school dances, and progressed as a University of Pittsburgh student learning to beat-match vinyl live on college radio and playing trance, happy hardcore and breaks at house parties. His 1994 mixtape “The Future Sound of Hardcore” led to out of town bookings and his ensuing popularity and skills led to the honor of being the first American asked by a British drum ‘n’ bass label to mix a compilation (“Drum & Bass Selection USA,” 1996).

For over two decades one of the world’s great ambassadors of drum ‘n’ bass and more recently dubstep, Dieselboy, also known as Damian Higgins, is America’s most iconic underground bass music curator and pioneer. He was the first drum ‘n’ bass artist to chart a single on Billboard’s dance chart with “Invid” in 2000, and the first American voted into the UK-based Drum & Bass Arena Top 10 DJs online poll in 2004. He has appeared on magazine covers, been heard on MTV, ESPN and numerous video games, and sponsored by DC Shoes and Pioneer Pro DJ.

In 2002 Dieselboy founded Human Imprint, North America’s most prolific, dynamic and innovative drum ‘n’ bass label, and is co-founder of dubstep/electro label SubHuman, both now under the umbrella of Planet Human. Planet Human is beloved by its fans for top quality high energy releases by international vanguard artists including Bare (US), Mark Instinct (Canada), Mayhem (US), Muffler (Finland), Nerd Rage (US), Nightwalker (UK), NumberNin6 (US), Pixel Fist (UK), Subshock (Spain), and Zardonic (Venezuela).

Dieselboy’s legacy is one of trailblazing dancefloor devastation non-stop on the international club circuit as well as at major global music festivals including Bonnaroo, Coachella, SXSW, Electric Daisy Carnival, US Virgin Mobile FreeFest, Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Summerfest, Ultra Music Festival, Shambhala (Canada), Global Gathering (UK), Creamfields (Poland), Pirate Station (Russia), Jisan Valley Rock Festival (Korea), and PHAT 09 (New Zealand). He also toured with Moby’s Area2 and played metal concerts with Orgy and Disturbed.

**TASO**
San Francisco
http://soundcloud.com/taso

In 2012, it is a rare thing for a young person to emulate such soul, but at 24 it feels like Taso has been around since much longer than having just coming to consciousness in the neon reflective, high-fade, gloss and glitter cradle of the 90’s in America. However, born in Massachusetts in 1988 and transplanted in California at 14, Taso and his music have a hypnotic joviality and exuberance that feel eerily beyond his years. There is jazz buried between the crevasses of his music, and his work resounds with a feeling of distinct street beat crossed with the substance of technical virtuosity. Birth name, Anastasios Ioannis Skalkos, young master Taso has spent the greater portion of his life crafting a musical identity from his unearthly passion for big bass and bringing people together to have a good time.

His earliest musical influences are groups like The Wu and Biggie, but Taso also champions pioneers like Jimi Hendrix and King Tubby, as well as his affinity for old school hip hop and late 90s grind core. Much like the fortuitously eclectic decade that influenced his young brain, Taso’s music has a bit of all of these elements present in his musical soundscape. At times, his beats are trunk-busting, slow rhyme inducing, pop-and-lock, deep, West Cost breaks that have an element of dubstep. In a flash, Taso’s use of synths proves as razor sharp as any contender in the big bass alleyway of top ten lists across the EDM globe. With a college degree in audio, Skalkos is a veritable grenade of bass, highly enabled to manipulate patches from soothing and lullaby-like to chest-bursting, disemboweling, distorted, monster tones ready to claw your eyes out. In that way that you want. Badly. And know it.

His first 14 track Lp released on Mal Label Galactic Booty Call hit the top 10 on beatport. Featuring orignal tracks along side Bay Area producers such as Yehti Master,Trevor Kelly,Nawte Kong and more.

Following the Release of his LP Taso put out the Kalifornia Ogz mix tape you can download it for free here

**Miss Haze**

The queen of Bass is back and with her own announcement for the burgh. With the bicoastal team up she's gonna be here holding things down as the first Bay area representative for BassCellars first east coast chapter.

After Starting BassCellar over a year ago in the Bay area it was time for some serious growth. As luck would have it the BC1 crew represents the bicoastal movement to the fullest and the team up was something that felt like it was planned from the start.

DJ, Producer and MC extraordinaire, this selectress is a multi threat and a jill of all trades. Feeling the bass from early on, a young haze began her start at the tender age of 13. As her record collection matured so did her Curiosity, leaving no genre of music untapped.Twelve years later you can find her a staple in the bay area, not only rocking dance floors but softly killing it on the mic. As a founder of one of San Francisco's most popular nights BASS CELLAR, she has taken the city by storm. This lady shows no sign of slowing down. So be on the lookout for this bass queen!!

**Kilo**
Pittsburgh/San Francisco
http://soundcloud.com/kilo-412-approved

Thats right the Drum and Bass big man is making the move to Bicoastal living also. Representing the BC1 crew and holding it down with 412 approved Kilo was with out a doubt one of the easiest choices we had to make in endorsement for a residency position.

The mad man behind 412 Approved, been in the scene since 95 and is not showing any signs of slowing down. Drum and bass like no other, ENERGY is the one word that comes to mind. This man has a stage presence that will leave you screaming for more. A blend of some of the nastiest drum and bass tracks along with a few surprise dub and drumstep floor shakers. Prepared to be moving non stop as KILO will take you on a ride that only ends with sensory overload. Enter the 412 APPROVED!

**Jai Soliel**
San Francisco
http://soundcloud.com/jaisoleil

Jai Soleil began his life long pursuit of delicious dance beats in Baltimore, MD back in 1992. It was at his first party, Fever, hearing his first track, FSOL's Papua New Guinea, played by Charles Feelgood. So began several years of going to parties as a dancer. A move to Boulder, CO in 1996 saw Jai's move from dancer to DJ. Starting out as DJai Sunrise, Jai found his love in the beautiful melodies of trance. Over the years and moving around from place to place eventually led to getting involved with promoting. As his music style grew deeper from trance to progressive house, the name changed to Jai Soleil (French for the sun).

Over the years, Jai has promoted many events small and large, ranging from 50 people house parties to outdoor festivals with 100 djs on 7 stages and 3500 attendees. Through event production came another love for the scene in graphic design.

Jai Soleil has been involved with the scene in one way or another for over half of his life now. Musically, has played most every style of electronica: trance, progressive, house, deep house, tech house, atmospheric d+b, ambient, downtempo, trip hop, and now the dubsteps.

The current flavour of Jai Soleil is a wide variety of chillaxed, filthy beautiful, spacebass loverbeatz...
