Native Americans have the highest prevalence of diabetes in the U.S. For 30 years Seva has supported Native American grassroots organizations dedicated to building healthy Native communities and sustainable programs. Seva supports partner projects that promote a more comprehensive concept of health by restoring indigenous knowledge, traditional farming methods, environmental wellness and self-reliant health prevention strategies that lead to diabetes-free Native communities. |
