More Information
Euphonic Conceptions is throwing 2 late night afterparties when Sound Tribe Sector 9 comes through Boulder in March, just for all yall who like to still be up by the morning sun.

The first of these two blockbuster events will be on Tuesday, March 13th, at the Trilogy Lounge and Wine Bar, virtually across the street from the Boulder Theater.

Boulder-based MFA: Loop Lab will be opening things up at midnight, utilizing innovative looping technology to create spontaneous layers of completely improvised electronic music.

Utterly lovable and widely acclaimed Brooklyn-born groovemaster Eliot Lipp will then induce head-nods and hip-grinding with an eclectic layering of samples, dope-ass beats, and crazy busted-sounding keys.

Oregon-based Bluetech will then generate his unique and primordial electro-dub alchemy of exquisite melody and downtempo. One of the most ingenious producers today, he will be merging genres and splitting heads until 4 AM.

Ana Sia, infamous Mob Bosstress of the Glitchmob, will close the evening out in the early morning hours with her signature glitched out, sexed up, and basically krunk strip-hop.

J Garcia and Kris D will both be painting live throughout the evening.

This event is 21+, and the bar will be open until 2 AM. Tickets are $20. There are only 100 tickets now available to this event.

On Thursday, March 15th, Euphonic Conceptions presents

RE:CREATION AT THE ROOT: THE GLITCHMOB INVASION

Starting the evening off early for those shut out of the Boulder Theater, the high energy group Control will be fusing live instrumentation and sample based production into a performance that pushes the limits of drum & bass and hip hop.

The Chicago-based trio Future Rock will then hit the stage at midnight. Future Rock's combination of synthesized organic instruments, electronic sensibility and sophisticated songwriting is a contagious mix that has been creating a buzz throughout the culture, at the heels of their 4 AM set of Aphex Twin covers at Camp Bisco V.

International players Alex Botwin and Lane Shaw of the Pnuma Trio will then celebrate their upcoming move to Colorado with an epic debut of brand new “Pnuma Duo” experimental live PA material. Their infectious flow promises to excavate skulls and stimulate the dancefloor. Their set will also be featuring Ryan Burnett of Signal Path, who will perform as Ezekial.

Come 3:00 AM, The Glitchmob Invasion will be hitting Boulder with the intensity and power of a Hawaiian tsunami. edIT, Boreta, and Ooah of the Glitchmob will proceed to unleash an unmitigated maelstrom of mashed-up funk, collectively melting faces for hours with a rhythmic tidal wave of glitched-out freakiness.

J Garcia and Kris D will also be painting throughout the evening.

Tickets will be $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. Music will go until at least 6 AM. No alcohol will be served – this event is for ages 18 and older.
